Wallabies plan a surprise move on Saturday

It has been revealed that the Wallabies may play Taniela Tupou
on Saturday 8 September 2018, when they face our local Springboks (Rugby)
at the Suncorp Stadium.

The 135kg Tupou missed two of Australia’s tests against New Zealand due
to an injury.

Tupou told the Daily Telegraph newspaper that he was close to playing at
Eden Park, but his injury was not yet healed – he is, however, eager to
get back into action.

If Tupou cannot play on Saturday, the Wallabies No 3 jersey
may be enjoyed by either Sekope Kepu or Allan Alaalatoa.

Wallabies squad for Saturday thus far:

Forwards: Allan Alaalatoa, Rory Arnold, Adam Coleman, Folau Fainga’a, Ned Hanigan, Michael Hooper (captain), Sekope Kepu, Tolu Latu, David Pocock, Tatafu Polota-Nau, Tom Robertson, Izack Rodda, Pete Samu, Rob Simmons, Scott Sio, Caleb Timu, Lukhan Tui, Taniela Tupou, Brandon Paenga-Amosa

Backs: Kurtley Beale, Israel Folau, Bernard Foley, Will Genia, Dane Haylett-Petty, Reece Hodge, Marika Koroibete, Jack Maddocks, Joe Powell, Matt Toomua, Tom Banks, Nick Phipps
