Cape Town All Stars part ways with Kapoweza

Cape Town All Stars Football Club have confirmed the departure of the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Elasto Kapoweza, the two parties agreeing by mutual consent to end his contract with Igugu Lekapa.

The former Zimbabwean international midfielder has asked that he be allowed to move back to Johannesburg to be closer to his family.

“We would like to thank Elasto Kapoweza for his services to Cape Town All Stars Football Club,” said General Manager Faeez Dulvie.

“We appreciate his efforts during his relatively short time at the club. However, he asked that he be relieved from his duties in order to be closer to his family at home. The club has agreed to his request. We wish him all the best for the future,” added Dulvie.

All Stars report back for pre-season training on Monday, July 4, as preparations get into full swing for the 2016/ 2017 NFD season.
